Moodle Day 2017 at Dawson Call for Proposals

Greetings to you all,

 

On Friday, May 26, 2017 we will be organizing the Moodle Day 2017 at Dawson College.

We are inviting all the ones interested in Moodle and its features to share with us this event.

We would like to hear from anyone who has used Moodle activities and resources applying pedagogical strategies in their instruction as well as those who have been conducting tests using Moodle and its plugins, etc.

Your experience with Moodle is very important and there are many of us that would like to hear about your success stories or your challenges.

We, the Moodle Day organizers, are looking forward to receiving your submissions.

Taking in consideration the fact that the majority will be participants from the Anglophone sector we welcome proposals from individuals or groups in English but French is welcome as well.

Video Tutorial : Creating an online quiz activity.

The objective of this video tutorial is to facilitate teachers daily task creating a quiz activity. In this video you will learn how to create and manage questions, and make them available in an online test.

The content was presented during the October-November 2016 online sessions, by Roman Barba, Pedagogical Advisor and Moodle Consultant at DECclic. This educational video was edited by Roman Barba.

 

Training Needs Analysis Results for 2016

During the month of September 2016, DECclic conducted a training needs analysis for Anglophone CEGEP teachers. This valuable information helped us create efficient pedagogical strategies and educational tools. The October-November 2016 training sessions topics, pedagogical materials, and logistics were based on the training needs analysis results.

Moodle Online Training Sessions 2016

From October 20, 2016 to November 10, 2016 DECclic Corporation organized a series of online sessions on how to use Moodle and its pedagogical applications to enhance students’ learning. These sessions were based on the conducted needs analysis, and were aimed to broaden the experience of college teachers who are new to (or slightly familiar with) Moodle.

All sessions were recorded and edited. We will upload those videos for your use and review.
